GMT Heavy Mechanical has an extensive workshop just outside Imbil in the heart of the Mary Valley, 25 minutes south of Gympie and 10 minutes west of the Bruce Highway in South East Queensland.

GMT Heavy Mechanical commenced in 2008 as workshop servicing GMT Logging's fleet of timber harvesting machines.

Since then we have grown to service many local agricultural, transport, earthmoving and forestry businesses, by taking care of their essential business machinery & vehicles. We offer a complete range of services including mechanical, welding, steel fabrication, hydraulic hoses, oil sales, bolts, filters, fan belts, air conditioning, electrical... basically everything you need to get going again.

Owing to recent demand, we now install and service fire suppression systems fitted to heavy machinery.

We also perform log-book servicing of all makes and models of four-wheel-drives & trucks – which WILL NOT void your warranty.

We have excellent access for low loaders and HC Trucks with plenty of room for unloading, loading and testing of heavy equipment. You can drop off your machine or vehicle, we will fix it, test it and you can pick it up when it suits you – no problems.

If getting it to us is a problem, give us a call and we can come to you with one of our fully equipped service trucks – complete with water, compressed air, power and welding.
